Bulk Beads
When one line becomes ten thousand pieces: how bulk orders are quoted, discounted and packed in this catalogue.
Bulk buying is a different discipline from wholesale sampling. The question stops being 'what is the minimum?' and becomes 'what does this line cost at my volume, packed so it survives the journey and the warehouse?' The lines in this catalogue built for bulk are the ones with recorded listing minimums and simple unit maths: hand-painted porcelain at 500-piece floors (6–26mm), millefiori and glass strands at 50-strand floors, gemstone donuts at 50-piece floors across a full size ladder, and brass findings at piece prices of $0.02–0.04.
Two catalogue policies serve bulk buyers directly. First, minimums are floors, not package sizes — a bulk order is quoted per SKU at your quantity, with the price following the volume. Second, the company publishes a bulk-order discount policy for single large orders paid by bank transfer (T/T), Western Union or PayPal; the tier applicable to your order is confirmed in the quote, against the real order value. This page explains how to structure a bulk inquiry so the quote you receive is the best the catalogue can give.
Lines built for bulk volume
| Line | Details on record |
|---|---|
| Hand-painted porcelain | 500-pc floor on the main lines, priced $0.18–0.21 |
| Millefiori glass strands | 50-strand floor — ask beads-per-strand for the exact line |
| Gemstone donuts | 50-pc floor across 12–50mm — one ladder, one order |
| Brass crimp beads | $0.02–0.04 — bulk by the ten-thousand is normal |
| Acrylic & resin lines | 200-pc floors — colour-true volume for fashion ranges |
| Ceramic shapes range | Twelve shapes for strand production; see ceramic |
How to structure a bulk inquiry
- One line per row, full spec per row. Material, form, size, hole, colour/finish, quantity, unit. A bulk quote is only as sharp as its longest row — vague rows get safe (higher) pricing.
- Ask for the discount tier explicitly. State your payment method (T/T, Western Union or PayPal) and total order estimate, and ask for the bulk policy tier to be applied in the quote. It is policy, but it is applied at quote stage.
- Packing is a bulk decision. State your receiving reality: warehouse or shop, machine or hand unpacking, retail repacking or production feeding. Bulk packing (inner bags, carton counts, mixed-SKU cartons) is agreed before production, not after.
- Sequence fragile and heavy. Porcelain and shell travel best as separate inner parcels from metal findings. In bulk, ask for the packing plan in the quote — carton count and gross weight per line.
Minimums, units and packing
Bulk orders start from the recorded floors (50 pieces or strands on the entry lines above, 500 pieces on painted porcelain) and scale by quote. There is no published ceiling or fixed bulk price list — volume pricing is computed per SKU against your quantities, which is why the structured inquiry above matters.
Buyer questions
Is there a fixed bulk price list?
No — and be wary of suppliers who publish one. Bulk pricing follows your exact SKUs and quantities; the discount policy adds a tier on top for qualifying payment methods. A computed quote beats a printed table.
Can bulk orders mix colours within a line?
Colour splits within a line are normal; state the split per colour in the inquiry so each colour's stock is checked. Very small colour splits may price as separate lines.
How are bulk beads packed?
By agreement at quote stage — typically inner-bagged by SKU with carton-level labelling. State your repacking or production-feeding needs, and ask for the packing plan to be confirmed and whether it can be written into the quote.
